Tar River Academy

This week is National School Counseling week! This year's theme is "school counseling: standards based, student focused." All of Tar River Academy's staff collaborated with Ms. Steele to enhance the school counseling program. Ms. Pobadora and Ms. Esule were awarded certificates of appreciation for going above and beyond. Ms. Pobadora opened her classroom to multiple guidance lessons for career and college preparation which tied into her English 4 standards. Ms. Esule works closely with Ms. Steele on planning career fairs, lessons and events that benefit our students and parents.
